Who We Are

 Tommie Motorsports is a student run organization at the University of St. Thomas competing in Baja SAE, a collegiate design series that simulates realistic engineering design projects through competition. We produce a single-seat off-road vehicle that requires various subsystems working synchronously to highlight suspension, safety, powertrain, and ergonomic considerations. Each competition is broken down between static and dynamic events, which range from business centered cost and design presentations to fast-paced sled pulls, acceleration and maneuverability events.

 Founded in 2021, our team has grown in size and evolved by engaging students of any discipline to collaborate in a diverse learning environment. We give students the tools to find success in internships and post-graduation by providing hands-on skills sought out by industry professionals. Our success is a direct result of approaching challenges with creative and innovative mindsets that take our team to new heights.
